Arrived @ Lambert St. Louis Airport. Got a lucky break by getting to check all baggage en masse right by the bus, saving much time w/vets stuck @ ticket counter

We are heading across the Mighty Mississippi as we make our way to Lambert Airport escorted by the Lambert Police Department. What a great start!!!

Upon landing at Reagan National, our plane was greeted with a water cannon salute by airport fire trucks.

On the plane in St. Louis, finishing boarding. TSA was an adventure for the metal hip crowd! ;-)

Overheard between 2 WWII vets meeting for the first time: "I see you're wearing a gray sweater. That means you fought for the Confederates!"

Just stopped in Edwardsville to pickup one last vet before catching plane in St. Louis.

On buses from Effingham, en route to St. Louis airport. Will be picking up more vets along the way.

Just 4 more hours and our veterans will start arriving for our 10th Honor Flight Mission to DC...

Good Morning! Here we are bright and early, it 4:30am and these veterans are awaiting check in.

We have left Indy on our way home and should be back around 9:55. See you all then!

We are on our way to the airport in Baltimore. What a perfect day.
